PayKato for digital product sellers

Sell your ebook, course, template pack, preset bundle, or downloadable product to customers around the world. Get paid in their currency. Receive local settlement in yours.

Built for the creator workflow

Most digital product sellers don't need a full e-commerce platform. They need a clean payment link they can drop into a Gumroad-style landing page, a newsletter, an Instagram bio, a YouTube description, or a Discord pin.

PayKato gives you a reusable link per product, with the price, currency, and title baked in. Customers click, pay on a partner-hosted secure checkout, and you receive settlement to your local bank account.

  • One link per product — reuse across every channel
  • Single-use links for early-bird or limited drops
  • Optional expiry dates for time-limited offers
  • Customer email captured at checkout for fulfilment

What you can sell

Ebooks and digital downloads. Online courses and cohort access. Lightroom and video presets. Design templates, Notion templates, Figma kits. Stock photography and music. Plugin and software licences. Coaching packages and consulting calls. Anything you'd otherwise sell through a payment link or invoice.

Fulfilment is up to you

PayKato handles the payment, not the delivery. After payment, you fulfil the digital product through your own email or platform — the customer's name and email are captured at checkout and visible in your dashboard. Many creators automate fulfilment via Zapier-style flows or a simple webhook on the customer email.

Frequently asked

Can customers buy without creating an account?
Yes. Customers open the payment link, pay on a partner-hosted checkout, and that's it. No PayKato account required from the buyer.
How do I deliver the product after payment?
PayKato handles payment and settlement. Fulfilment is up to you — typically a download email or course access link sent from your platform. The customer email is captured at checkout.
Can I issue a refund on a digital product?
Yes, refunds are supported through the partner's refund workflow for supported payment methods. Refund timing depends on the original payment method.
Are subscriptions supported?
Recurring billing is rolled out by request during the Nigeria pilot. For now, most creators use renewable invoices or reusable payment links. Contact support if subscription billing is critical to your workflow.
How much does PayKato cost?
PayKato's platform fee starts from 1.5% per successful transaction, with no monthly or setup fees. Processor, FX, payout, bank, and country-specific fees may apply on top, charged by the relevant partner. See the Pricing page for a sample breakdown.
Which processors and banks does PayKato use?
PayKato is built to integrate with licensed payment processors and banking partners. Specific processors and availability are confirmed during merchant onboarding based on country, merchant category, and partner approval.
