Compliance Review

Compliance at PayKato

A single page covering how we verify ourselves, onboard merchants, handle complaints, address country rules, describe our partner status, and run the current pilot. This page is maintained by Omega Allied Services LTD, the operator of PayKato. It describes our current practices — it is not an independent certification or audit report.

Public legal entity verification

PayKato is operated by Omega Allied Services LTD, a company registered in Nigeria. Operator details, registered jurisdiction, and contact channels are published publicly.

  • Operator: Omega Allied Services LTD
  • Product: PayKato

Merchant onboarding checklist

Every merchant goes through the same KYC/KYB checklist before live payment access is enabled. The checklist is published so merchants can prepare documents in advance.

  • Business identity & CAC / registration documents
  • Director / owner ID verification
  • Bank account for settlement
  • Business category & website review
  • Partner approval where required

Complaints

Merchants and their customers can raise a complaint at any time. Every complaint is logged with a reference ID and acknowledged within two business days.

Ticket reference format: PK-COMP-YYYYMMDD-####. Keep your reference ID for follow-up.

Country-specific compliance

Availability, supported payment methods, and partner status vary by country. Each country page lists what is and is not supported under our current partner integrations.

  • Nigeria

    CBN-licensed processor partners. CAC-registered operator.

  • Ghana

Bank of Ghana–licensed processor partners (via integrations).

  • Kenya

    CBK-licensed processor partners (via integrations).

  • South Africa

    SARB-regulated processor partners (via integrations).

Partner status — integrates with vs official partner

To avoid confusion, we describe our relationship with every named processor in the same way:

  • "Integrates with" means we connect to a processor through their published APIs and standard commercial terms. We are not an agent, reseller, or affiliate of that processor.
  • "Official partner" is only used when we have a signed partnership agreement that authorises that language. We will name the partner and the agreement type explicitly on the page that uses it.
  • Unless a page explicitly says "official partner", assume PayKato integrates with the named provider and is not its agent.

Current integrations: Stripe, Paystack, Flutterwave (card / mobile money / bank). See Trust & Security for the full list.

Pilot Program Terms

Because PayKato is currently in a controlled Nigeria pilot, additional terms apply to pilot merchants. These cover eligibility, service availability, fees, partner status, suspension, complaints, and limitation of liability during the beta.
