Payment links built for African businesses

Generate a shareable PayKato payment link in minutes, send it to your customer, and have the proceeds settled to your local bank account through licensed payment and banking partners.

Why African businesses use payment links

Many African merchants sell to customers across borders — through Instagram, WhatsApp, freelance marketplaces, and direct relationships. Setting up a full e-commerce checkout is overkill for a few invoices a month, and most international processors are difficult to onboard for African businesses.

Payment links solve this: one URL per request, sent directly to the customer, who pays securely without your team building a checkout page.

How PayKato payment links work

Sign up, complete merchant verification, and create your first payment link from the dashboard. You set the title, amount, currency, and an optional invoice number. PayKato hosts a public checkout URL.

When your customer pays, the transaction is processed by a licensed partner. PayKato records the payment and shows it in your dashboard. Settled funds are then sent to your local bank account on the next payout cycle.

  • Single-use or reusable links
  • Optional expiry date
  • Customer name and email captured at checkout
  • Refund-friendly: partners support refund flows on supported methods

Designed for freelancers, agencies, and online sellers

PayKato payment links work for invoicing a single international client, collecting deposits from multiple customers, or selling digital products without an online store. The same link can serve any of these flows.
