Prohibited Businesses

This list reflects categories that our payment partners, card networks, and applicable laws restrict. It is not exhaustive — PayKato may decline or terminate any business at its discretion. Some categories may be permitted on a case-by-case basis with additional review.

Strictly prohibited

  • Illegal goods or services, including stolen goods.
  • Narcotics, controlled substances, drug paraphernalia.
  • Weapons, ammunition, explosives, and related accessories.
  • Child sexual-abuse material and any content exploiting minors.
  • Human trafficking, prostitution, escort services.
  • Counterfeit, replica, or IP-infringing goods.
  • Unlicensed financial services, money transmission, or virtual-currency exchange.
  • Ponzi, pyramid, matrix schemes, and "get rich quick" offers.
  • Unlicensed gambling, lotteries, sweepstakes, or betting.
  • Unlicensed pharmaceuticals, prescription drugs without verification.
  • Terrorism financing or sanctioned parties or jurisdictions.

Restricted (additional review may be required)

  • Cryptocurrency-related services.
  • Adult content and services (where legal).
  • Firearms accessories, knives, tactical gear (where legal).
  • Cannabis, CBD, hemp products.
  • Travel agencies, ticketing brokers, timeshares.
  • Credit repair, debt collection, debt settlement.
  • Forex, binary options, high-risk trading.
  • Multi-level marketing.
  • Charities and crowdfunding.
  • High-chargeback or subscription-heavy verticals.

PayKato and its partners may add categories to this list at any time and may require evidence of licensing before enabling restricted categories.
