Invoice international clients from Nigeria

Stop juggling PayPal screenshots, Wise transfers, and bank visits. Send a clean PayKato invoice, get paid in your client's currency, and receive NGN in your bank.

Why Nigerian freelancers need a real invoicing flow

International clients expect a proper invoice — not a WhatsApp message with an account number. A clean invoice with a payment link gets paid faster, looks professional, and gives you a clean record for tax and accounting.

PayKato sits in the middle: you send the invoice, your client pays on a partner-hosted secure checkout, and you receive NGN in your Nigerian bank account.

How it works end-to-end

Create an invoice in the dashboard with line items, currency, due date, and your client's email. PayKato emails the invoice with a secure payment link. Your client pays by card or bank transfer on a partner-hosted checkout. The transaction shows up in your dashboard with gross, fees, FX estimate, and net NGN. On the next payout cycle, the NGN lands in your Nigerian bank account.

  • Send in USD, EUR, or GBP
  • Add a due date and PayKato reminds your client automatically
  • Mark partial payments, refunds, and overdue invoices
  • Export records for accounting and tax

Who this is for

Nigerian freelance designers, developers, writers, marketers, consultants, video editors, voiceover artists, and agencies that bill international clients. Anyone tired of explaining how to wire money to a Nigerian bank account.

Frequently asked

Can my client pay in USD?
Yes — invoice in USD, EUR, or GBP. The client pays in your invoice currency on a partner-hosted checkout. PayKato then settles you in NGN through a licensed payout partner.
Do I need a CAC-registered business to send invoices?
Sole traders can apply with personal KYC. CAC-registered businesses can unlock higher limits and more partner options. See our KYC for Nigerian freelancers page for the document list.
How quickly do I get paid?
Most card payments clear in 1–3 business days. NGN settlement to your Nigerian bank typically lands within 1 banking day after partner clearance. First payout may take longer while final checks are completed.
How much does PayKato cost?
PayKato's platform fee starts from 1.5% per successful transaction, with no monthly or setup fees. Processor, FX, payout, bank, and country-specific fees may apply on top, charged by the relevant partner. See the Pricing page for a sample breakdown.
Which processors and banks does PayKato use?
PayKato is built to integrate with licensed payment processors and banking partners. Specific processors and availability are confirmed during merchant onboarding based on country, merchant category, and partner approval.
