Invoice payments for Nigerian agencies

Stop sending PayPal screenshots and bank account numbers to your clients. Send a clean PayKato invoice in USD, EUR, or GBP — and have NGN settled to your business bank account.

Built for the way agencies actually bill

Most Nigerian agencies bill clients in milestones, retainers, or fixed-fee projects. PayKato invoices support each of those: send a retainer invoice on the 1st of every month, a milestone invoice when a deliverable lands, or a one-off invoice for a project sprint.

Every invoice carries your agency's branding and a secure payment link. Clients pay in their own currency on a partner-hosted checkout — no PayKato account required on their side.

  • Retainer invoices on a recurring schedule
  • Milestone invoices tied to deliverables
  • Partial payments and deposits
  • Automatic reminders before and after the due date

How settlement works for agencies

When a client pays, the licensed processor partner clears the funds. PayKato then queues an NGN payout to your agency's Nigerian bank account through a licensed payout partner. Your settlements screen shows gross, processor fee, PayKato platform fee (from 1.5%), FX estimate, and the net NGN you'll receive.

Most card payments clear within 1–3 business days. NGN payout usually lands within 1 banking day after clearance.

Who this is for

Nigerian creative agencies, branding studios, marketing agencies, performance marketing firms, software development shops, design studios, video production teams, and consulting firms that bill international clients in USD, EUR, or GBP and need clean settlement into a Nigerian business account.

Frequently asked

Do I need a CAC-registered business?
A CAC-registered Business Name or Limited company is recommended for agency accounts and usually unlocks higher limits and more partner options. Sole-trader applications are reviewed case by case.
Can I bill in multiple currencies on one account?
Yes. You can send invoices in USD, EUR, GBP, and other supported currencies from the same PayKato account. NGN settlement happens at the licensed payout partner's rate at settlement time.
Can multiple team members create invoices?
Team access during the Nigeria pilot is rolled out by request. Contact support if multi-user access is critical for your agency's workflow.
How much does PayKato cost?
PayKato's platform fee starts from 1.5% per successful transaction, with no monthly or setup fees. Processor, FX, payout, bank, and country-specific fees may apply on top, charged by the relevant partner. See the Pricing page for a sample breakdown.
Which processors and banks does PayKato use?
PayKato is built to integrate with licensed payment processors and banking partners. Specific processors and availability are confirmed during merchant onboarding based on country, merchant category, and partner approval.
