Receive USD payments in Nigeria

Invoice international clients in USD, accept their card payment on a partner-hosted checkout, and have the settlement reach your verified Nigerian bank account in NGN.

Built for Nigerian freelancers, agencies, and exporters

If you sell to clients in the US, UK, EU, or further afield, you need a way to collect in USD without opening a US entity. PayKato lets Nigerian businesses generate USD payment links and invoices and settle the proceeds locally through licensed payment and banking partners.

How USD-in, NGN-out works

Your customer is charged in USD on a partner-hosted checkout. The processor settles to a partner account; FX from USD to NGN is applied by the partner at their published margin; the resulting NGN amount, net of PayKato platform fee and any payout fee, lands in your local bank account.

Timing and FX rates depend on partner and country rules. You see the breakdown for each transaction in your PayKato dashboard.

What you need to get started

PayKato requires standard Nigerian merchant verification before live processing is enabled.

  • Government ID for the business owner / director
  • Proof of address
  • CAC certificate or equivalent business registration
  • TIN where applicable
  • Verified NGN bank account in the registered business name
