PayKato is in an early pilot in Nigeria. New merchant applications are reviewed individually before live processing is enabled.

  • Freelancers and independent professionals invoicing international clients
  • Digital product sellers, SaaS, agencies, and consultants
  • E-commerce merchants selling permitted goods

Supported payment methods

  • International debit and credit cards (subject to partner support)
  • Local Nigerian cards (subject to partner support)
  • Bank transfer (where supported by the partner)

Payout currency

NGN

Settlement to a verified Nigerian Naira bank account in the merchant's registered name.

KYC / KYB requirements

  • Government-issued ID for the business owner / director
  • Proof of address
  • Business registration document (CAC certificate or equivalent)
  • Tax identification number (TIN) where applicable
  • Bank account details in the registered business name

Expected payout timing

Typically 1–3 business days after settlement, subject to partner, bank, compliance review, and banking cut-offs.

Unavailable or prohibited

  • Adult content, gambling, lotteries, and betting
  • Cryptocurrency exchanges, mixers, and ICO sales
  • Unlicensed financial services, money transmission, and FX
  • Weapons, ammunition, and regulated controlled goods
  • Counterfeit goods, IP-infringing products, and unlicensed pharmaceuticals
  • Multi-level marketing and pyramid schemes

Availability is partner-dependent

Acceptance, supported payment methods, payout rails, fees, and timing for Nigeria are confirmed during merchant onboarding and depend on country regulation, merchant category, and approval by licensed payment and banking partners.
